This is Sadghuru Saibaba temple constructed by Dr. Sagar Aghori and this temple located in JP Nagar, Bangalore. This was the vision of our beloved Babaji and later it became spiritual, healing, mediation centre as well. Beauty of this temple are, it has Dakshina Mukhi hanuman, Shirdi Sai Baba big idol (black colour), Mrutyudev, Kamakya devi idol.
Symbol of Nirguna and Aghora
Dakshinamukhi Hanuman refers to Lord Hanuman depicted facing the south (dakshina means south, mukhi means faced). This form holds special spiritual significance, particularly in protection against negative energies, black magic, and fear of the unknown.
In Aghora philosophy, Mrutyudev (also called Yamadeva or Kalabhairava in various forms) is not feared, but deeply revered. He is not just the god of death, but the gateway to liberation (moksha) and the ultimate transformer of ego.
Transcend Fear and Disgust
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Skull Garland (Mundamala) | Reminder of impermanence |
| Fire or Smashaan (cremation ground) | Transformation, ego-burning |
| Third Eye | Awareness beyond physical death |
| Dark Form / Naked Form | Truth in its rawest, formless essence |
Purpose of Worshiping Mrutyudev in Aghora
Kamakya Devi, in Aghorism, is the embodiment of primal power that transcends all limitations. She is worshiped not merely as a benevolent mother but as the cosmic force who dissolves all illusions of duality—purity/impurity, life/death, pleasure/pain.
Through her, Aghoris seek to realize the Aghora state—beyond fear, desire, and judgment.
